Why Won't Your Kids Speak Up
  1. Afraid you will make a big entrance
Answer: Try to meet with the principal before or after school when other students are not present.

  1. Embarrass them in front of their peers
Answer: Remember the school is on your side - stay calm and respectful with school authorities.

  1. Make it worse than it already is
Answer: Talk with your child and reassure them that it will only get worse if something isn't done.

  1. Bully will find out
Answer: Make sure your child knows that it will be kept confidential between you and the principal and the bully won't find out.
