Leaders Against Bullying
Information for Parents
Let’s get down to the basics.
The success of a student not only depends on their understanding of a concept but also knowing when to apply it.
I’ve incorporated the following character building words into my presentations because they have great meanings. Respect, responsibility, integrity and courage are big words for intermediate students. Therefore, to help them learn, repetition is a good start.
Continuously exposing them to these words through: discussion, role playing, individual or class projects and use of visual aids (like my magic), will help them comprehend its meaning. The bystander who is watching the bullying will come to realize that the right thing to do may seem scary, but speaking up and telling someone or reporting the bullying are steps towards a safe school and safe community.
