Sharing
Seeing what sharing is all about will help children to understand, that when we share, it shows we care.
Let's create a collage of pictures.
Instructions
Ask each student to bring in 3 pictures of people sharing. (use old magazines, colorful pictures)
Over the next few days, when the children are seated in a big circle, ask them to talk about their pictures and why they think their pictures are about sharing.
Once the discussions are complete the students can then glue their pictures on mural paper or mount them on a wall with a border around it.
Once all the pictures are used then give out certificates.
As a follow-up, ask the children to choose their favorite sharing activity from the mural or a sharing activity they might want to try to practice at home or school. They might want to write about their favorite sharing activity in a journal.
