When I was at school I had some amazing teachers that moulded me into the person I am today. Teachers deserve respect and recognition for all their hard work.
Create a teacher recognition week.
Have students write a paragraph about how their teacher has influenced them in a positive way.
Read a statement for a teacher on your morning announcements (read 5 teachers a day). Create a display of the students comments and place them on the wall.
Note every teacher must be recognized so get a list from the office and at any time during the week read a short paragraph of what a student has written about what they like most about their teacher.
